Experts Join Forces to Create the first Political Analysis Firm Specializing in Latin America.

(Washington, D.C.) A group of political experts announced today the creation of Latin Analysis, Inc., the first multinational group specializing in Latin American political analysis.

Latin Analysis, Inc. will develop specific products and services geared to this vital region.

The firm offers political risk and political uncertainty™ analysis, specifically associated with the different Latin American countries, from a political perspective, an area often neglected by the industry standard analysis which predominantly takes into account economic factors.

"For the first time, companies and governments will be able to obtain both analytical depth and independent credibility. So far, that combination is extremely hard to find in regard with the political analysis of Latin America," said Ricardo Carreras-Lario, President of Latin Analysis, Inc.

In the opinion of Mr. Carreras-Lario, who has experience on the industry and specializes on the study of elections and political parties, the new company "will reinforce the external analysis of our Associated Experts with the internal analysis of our two-hundred-strong network of local contributors, who work on the basis of anonymity".

Latin Analysis, Inc. has offices in Washington, DC, and Madrid, Spain, as well as associated research centers in Chile and throughout Latin America. The Madrid office is headed by Dr. Rafael Calduch Cervera, the prestigious International Affairs Chair of the Universidad Complutense and a leading Spanish expert on Latin America.

The new group is the only one in the market to offer bilingual services, in English or Spanish, and is also unique on its perspective, since most experts are Spanish-speaking and stem from Hispanic countries.

Some of the products the firm is currently developing include an index of Political Insecurity™ for Latin American countries, which is a quantitative tool analyzing data of the last 30 years and is made of forty -structural, middle and short-term- political indicators.
